Power rule for JEE

Differentiation of trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, logarithmic, exponential, composite and implicit functions

Formula

\[\frac{d}{dx}(x^n)=nx^{n-1}\]

Variables: \(n\in\mathbb R\) in standard use.

Conditions: For non-integer real \(n\), require domain where \(x^n\) is real-valued and differentiable.

Algebraic differentiation, composite functions, higher derivatives.
